Overview

Meetcaregivers is looking for a data Java engineer to help revolutionize how seniors find and retain home care. We have recognized that the root cause of home healthcare failure is inefficient technology and are gearing up to solve those problems. You will be part of the internal software development team that develops applications that improve the senior care service and helps with caregiver onboarding.

Currently, we are working on internal software for caregiver recruitment and onboarding. The software will be integrated by designed API layers through other internal software and third-party payroll companies. The onboarding software will help recruiters to track caregiver applications and build a unified user interface.

 

Job Details

  • Develop high-quality backend applications
  • Work on cutting edge Java based technologies to develop maintainable, performant, and elegant features in an agile, incremental fashion
  • Collaborate and execute major cross-platform executions as a team, or independently when needed
  • Develop components and modules that add to the pool of re-usable, and platform capabilities for the teams.
  • Document knowledge and processes specific to your work
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills in working with numerous internal teams and expand personal and team knowledge of new and upcoming products.
  • Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle and write well-designed, testable, efficient code.

Qualifications

  • Software engineering or related field. Master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Preferred experience with data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics
  • Experience with writing APIs
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in technical solutions, design, and development.
  • Microservices
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Experience using query languages and data pipelines
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment Experience using DevOps tools and familiar with Docker
  • Knowledge of service testing tools such as Postman
  • Experience with version control (Git) and standard Gitflow processes
  • Understanding of React development
  • Knowledge of Node.JS concepts (event loop, cluster, memory management) helpful
  • Experience with Java/Kotlin, Java 8, Spring boot , Swagger knowledge, Postman     knowledge and Understanding of multi-threading/threading behavior,
  • Multi cloud deployment and management experience on AWS
  • Should be familiar with Data persistence and caching and have experience in SQL (Sql Server) and PostgreSQL
