Startup Grind Names 130 Companies to the 2018 Global Startup Exhibition
Startup Grind: Inspiring, Educating and Connecting Entrepreneurs.
REDWOOD CITY, CA – February 5, 2018
Startup Grind today announced the induction of 130 Companies to the 2018 Class of Exhibiting Startups.
The Startup Exhibition recognizes 130 companies handpicked from 115 countries and 400 cities around the world, so it is no wonder that Meetcaregivers is excited to be apart of this.
Moreover, Startup Grind Startup Exhibition companies are a group of top companies that come as far away as Mauritius, Japan, Bangladesh, Australia, and as close as Guatemala, Canada, New York, Virginia, Georgia, Ohio, Wisconsin, Texas, Nevada, Washington, and California.
Startup Exhibition companies are given access to our global audience through media as well as onsite at the annual Global Event held February 12th through February 14th in beautiful historic downtown Redwood City.
The exhibition helps companies to accelerate their pace towards growth and success by gaining the visibility of mentors and investors in our network.
From Derek Andersen, founder, and CEO of Startup Grind:
“We started this program after seeing many of the Accelerators and Incubators not doing much toreally help companies. We really wanted tomake an actual difference in the startups trajectory and leverage all of our resources and network totheir advantage.”
“Of the 7,000 plus startups considered, 130 were selected representing the Startup Grindcommunity across 115 countries. These startups have great teams, traction, technology andmassive markets. Our biggest goal is for each startup to go back home with a newand improved game plan that would not have happened without the exposure of the exhibition andthe mentors/resources that were gained through our network.”
About Startup Grind
Startup Grind is the largest independent startup community. With over 1,000,000 founders in 400 cities, it seeks to actively educate, inspire, and connect to each person.
Additionally, we nurture startup ecosystems in 100 countries through events, media, and partnerships with organizations such as Google for Entrepreneurs.
The base of our global community includes monthly events such as successful local founders, innovators, educators, and investors. Furthermore, they share lessons learned on their own road to building their great companies.
Founded in Silicon Valley in 2010, Startup Grind has now hosted 2,000 fireside chats which have helped numerous organizations continue to expand. Likewise, Startup Grind itself has continued to develop and expand its resources so that it can continue to nurture budding businesses.
To date, Startup Grind has helped millions of entrepreneurs and hopeful businesses. For instance, these entrepreneurs have found mentorship, connected to partners and hires, pursued funding, and reached new users.
As a result, their startups gain an edge over competitors, subsequently giving them a head start in a competitive market.
Finally, Startup Grind prides itself on its three core values which include making friends rather than contacts, giving instead of taking, and lastly, helping others before helping yourself.
