MeetCaregivers, Inc. (“MeetCaregivers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at https://meetcaregivers.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit or use our Service, and the choices available to you regarding that information.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Data
When you interact with our Service (for example, by submitting a contact form, requesting a caregiver match, or signing up for our newsletter), we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Address or general location
- Information about care needs submitted through intake forms
Usage Data
When you visit our Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device identifiers
- Pages visited and time spent on those pages
- Referring website
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels, tags, and scripts) to operate, secure, and improve our Service. See Section 6 below for details on the categories of technology currently in use, technologies we have used historically, and your choices.

Aggregated and de-identified data. We may create and use aggregated or de-identified data — information that has been processed so it no longer identifies you — for any business purpose, including research, product development, reporting, and marketing, without the restrictions that apply to personal information under this policy. We do not attempt to re-identify such data except as permitted by law.
Sale/sharing of personal information. MeetCaregivers may sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under applicable law (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act), subject to the notice and opt-out rights described in this Policy.
3. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
We may share information with the following categories of third parties:

Advertising technology. MeetCaregivers may use advertising or retargeting technology on the Site, such as advertising pixels or ad-network conversion tracking, to support our marketing efforts. Where such technology shares visitor information with a third party for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising, we provide the notice and consent/opt-out mechanism described in Section 6 before that technology is activated.
Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising: MeetCaregivers may share visitor information with a third party for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140. Where we do, we provide the notice and opt-out mechanism described in Section 6.
4. Legal Disclosures
We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:
- Comply with a legal obligation or valid legal process
- Protect and defend the rights or property of MeetCaregivers
- Investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
- Protect the personal safety of users or the public
- Protect against legal liability
Business transfers. If MeetCaregivers is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of its assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information as required by law.
5. Your Privacy Rights
MeetCaregivers provides home care services and operates this Service on a nationwide basis. We are committed to transparency about the personal information we collect and how it is used, regardless of which specific state privacy law may apply to a particular visitor.
California Residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it is used; access a copy of that information; correct inaccurate information; delete personal information, subject to certain exceptions; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 9, or use any “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism presented on the Site. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of minors under 16 years of age. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests, consistent with what the request requires under law. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. California residents may also request, once per year, information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes, consistent with California’s “Shine the Light” law.
Browser Privacy Signals. Where you have a legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal enabled (such as Global Privacy Control), we honor that signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing in accordance with applicable law. We do not currently respond to the older, non-standardized “Do Not Track” browser setting, which is a different mechanism than Global Privacy Control.
Other States. Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws (which currently include, among others, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, and Texas) have similar rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of their personal information, subject to the specific terms of the law applicable in their state. We will honor verifiable requests consistent with the law applicable to your state of residence. Depending on your state, you may also have the right to appeal a decision we make in response to your request; contact us using the information in Section 9 to do so.
Washington Residents (My Health My Data Act)
Washington’s My Health My Data Act provides additional protections for “consumer health data,” which may include information related to caregiving needs, health conditions, or related services submitted through this Site. We do not share consumer health data with third parties for advertising purposes without the consent required under this law.

- Advertising — MeetCaregivers may use advertising and retargeting cookies and similar technologies to support our marketing and measure ad performance. Where used, we present a consent mechanism before any such technology loads, consistent with applicable law.

Our Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
